When fully upgraded, it is a shielded Aircraft with stealth and a large Line of Sight that can detect invisible. Their unique unit is the Jedi Starfighter, which benefits from improvements for both Jedi and Aircraft. Squeezing your army inside for a surprise ambush is a devious little trick, but it works consistently as other players need to destroy them before they can breach their walls or destroy buildings anyway, it just saves you having to click the deploy button. If it’s destroyed, everyone inside is deployed instantly and they also receive no damage for their transport suddenly falling to bits. But now you can stack up to 16 units inside to keep them safe, and with the rams already high HP it becomes the perfect armored transport. In previous games, they were classed as siege units that just battered down walls and gates before trundling off until they’re needed again. It’s super satisfying to watch enemy walls crumble after a successful assault, and now you can make things much more difficult for the defenders as it seems battering rams can be used as armored APCs. Sieges in Age Of Empires IV are absolute anarchy but incredibly fun.
